slipping into fall....

With politics at the forefront right now I could not resist posting this pic from a special I did called "Children Are People" a few years ago. That's Jay North, Teddy Rooney and me acting very..."Yeah...women can run for office and hold their own in the political arena..." I didn't realize at the time of this photograph it would take decades before that would become a reality.
Lots going on at The Altered Page. Seth has been busy gathering all sorts of interesting tidbits from 80 artists. Fun reading...

I am so honored...THANK YOU>>>THANK YOU>>> for my Brillante Premio award....actually I have received two of these awards in the last couple of weeks....
one from Cynthia Lugger at
www.meandmyart.blogspot.com
and one from my partner in art Sarah Fishburn at http://ragtagsf.blogspot.com
so I better get to it...

.the awards go to...ta da da da!!!

What is it about Amanda Blake’s art…I dig it bigtime…

I'm a fan of Jennifer Gordons art...her etsy shop rocks too...

At The Misadventures of Jane... Jane has everything a woman could want. So what's the problem? Though this blogs writer is on hiatus till September, The Misadventures of Jane are a good read…start now and catch up…

Woolgathering- this blog makes me happy

Visiting Sarah Jane makes me visit my childhood…

What did you buy today? just for fun tune into obsessiveconsumption

and for my 7th choice the talented Erika Tysse, who's blog is so refreshing.

And if you haven't been here lately...come visit me at my etsy store...

How wonderful your books and art are. I only discovered your site this afternoon ... I've been missing out! Congratulations on keeping your sanity in Hollywood. I gather it's not easy. Collage art must help. femminismo in Oregon

I'm sorry, but in looking at the photo, I just don't think that Angela has the experience to be voted in as President. Also, her pose seems rather inappropriate and, well, I'd have to cast my vote for Jay (even though he might be a menace).
