the scrapbook...

It was terrific to see Fred Bronson who joined us for the book signing we went to on Sunday. He is the author of our book "The Sound of Music Family Scrapbook" and he did a stellar job of threading our stories together. We all feel he retold our story the way we told it to him... that was really important to us.

Here we are at the Egyptian Theatre - American Cinematheque booksigning. Following our discussion on stage there was a showing of the movie. So many adult kids had bought the tickets for their Mother's and we saw many happy faces yesterday. We love hearing how the movie The Sound of Music has influenced lives...and our hope is that our book brings those fans of the film a more intimate look of who were were at the time we made the movie through our personal photographs, stories and DVD from our home movies.

doodling for NF...

These doodles have a very important aim: the funds they raise will benefit NF, Inc. Network, an organization dedicated to providing support to individuals and families affected by neurofibromatosis (NF).
Raising money for neurofibromatosis, celebrity doodles are available for auction on eBay from May 10th - 20th.
Please check them out if you can...there are many celebrities who doodled for a good cause... and one of those celebrities might just be your favorite...

Playing around with transparent layers...with glazes and mediums... I tried nail polish... and voila...a different look and feeling to my art was born...not to mention another use for those bottles of nail polish you never use...
