the beat goes on...

Jenn Mason just posted an interview that I did for her blog Every Artist Studio. Check it out...there's lots to explore on her site.
It was a sad day yesterday with the passing of Farrah Fawcett and Michael Jackson. I never worked with Michael, but how could you ignore his phenomenal talent. I did however work with Farrah at the beginning of her career and I remember her as stunningly beautiful and a very sweet person. Thought you might like to see this....

I was especially saddened by the passing of Farrah. Having had cancer I relate to her struggle with it. Thank you for sharing the Lady Schick video! You all look so lovely!
Also, a great interview with Jenn Mason.

How fun. I had that hair dryer when I was in high school and college. I'm not kidding!

As well as Michael Jackson, Farrah Fawcett was very popular in Japan from the end of 70's to the beginning of 80's.

I was watching her TV drama "Charlie's Angels" every week when I was a student.

I have known both you and Farrah very well, but I didn't know she has worked with you.

I saw the newspaper yesterday and I was shocked at the news of Michael. But I also surprised at the news of Farrah.

May they rest in peace.

Last night I watched "Farrah's Story" for the second time. She was an amazing woman with many, many talents. Her artwork was extrodinary and her writings were incredibly moving. My heart goes out to her family, especially her son who should have been allowed to be there that last day. She was definately the glue that held them together. I'm glad that people got to know of her art and her amazing strength through this special.

There was a core of steel behind that dazzling smile. She fought her disease tooth and nail, and from what I can tell, fought it to the very end.

The sad thing is that Farrah is now being practically overlooked after Michael Jackson's death.

Sad week in general. Ed, Farrah and Michael. He was cutest as a little boy... I was facinated with him. Seems like the older we get
more of our childhood memories pass. The circle of life.

Great interview and could so relate with the things that help you create....

Great weather here in LA... nice retreat from the heat.

Gosh, being a poet and didn't know it :)

We are all very saddend over here in England, at the passing of both Farrah and Michael.
What a sad week.
For me, I have enjoyed Michael Jackson's music for most of my life and feel genuine sorrow at his sudden death.
Farrah was a truly brave lady, I'm so full of admiration at her bravery.

I remember that commerical! Reminds me of the Gee Your Hair Smells Terrific commericals. I had that Farrah poster on my wall for quite some time. Thanks for sharing Angela. You two sure stole the spotlight.

I had that hairdryer, too, and tried desperately to get "flippy curls." Thank you for showing this. So fun seeing you there. Farrah's passing is sad, but how sweet to have shared that history with her.

So sad . . . I loved Farrah--watched her special a few weeks ago and just cried. She faced her disease with such courage and grace . . .
