They are all wonderful. I particularly like the use of the fish (and their shadows!) in Pond and Koi. The fish bring life, movement, flow, dynamics...I'm not sure what descriptive term to use, but they really add to the pieces!

Gorgeous! I am constantly amazed at the ammount of quality work you are able to produce. Where do you find the time, and if you have a little extra could you send it my way?

Oh Angela - these are gorgeous! Untroubled Water has always been one my favorites of yours. The rich color of the bark, foliage and bridge. I love the koi and the rich looking decorative papers. Stunning!

You have created such a HUGE impact on such a small 'canvas'.

They 'take me away' ...a joy to look at.

This is AMAZING! They should have tapped you for "Memoirs of a Geisha."

Your coude cacophony of color is verdantly vibrant. But what's with the four-fingered pregnant midget with the big fiddle?

The colors are so alive. Evertyhing is sooo beautiful :)
I love when I'm able to just create all day. I work a few different jobs..so it's been a little difficult lately. The last show I entered..my paintings were drying in the car on the way to the gallery..haha...

I thank you all for the kind comments...It feels great when ones art resonates with other creative souls. I did enjoy making these with an Asian flair.

Angela, they're so lush and beautiful! I lived in Japan for a few years after college and fell in love with their aesthetic. So much of Japanese art that's exhibited in the west represent a very stark, Zen-like atmosphere, but there's also a very sensual side to the culture that's rarely seen in much of their art and which you seem to have captured here. I really hope to see some of these in your online shop soon, as I'd love to purchase some.

Cheers,
Marjorie
