peyton wins...

So Peyton Manning may have lost the Super Bowl...but MY Peyton wins...

She got a new collar...in plaid no less...which is hard to see with her bountiful mane. I've been looking for the longest time for a plaid collar. And this one has a special plus, the cool snap-on flower (which she saves for special occasions).
And look...she's smiling she loves it so much...
I just had to share the place I bought it...
and there's more...Peyton got a new tag from make your dog smile
these are just so chic...(of course Peyton's doesn't have Merle's name on it...)
They are really lightweight which Peyton likes alot.

Valentines Day IS just around the corner...
and it's all about love....even puppy love...

the dance of art...cha

At CHA (Craft & Hobby Show) I did a book signing for "In This Garden" at the Quarry booth and hung out with some new and old art Friends.
top right clockwise

I did an interview for Creativity Knocks

 Was caught on Suzi Cam

Then walked around to see all the new art products soon to hit the shelves of your favorite art store. It does make you want to make art...right NOW!
And I will show you what I have been up to in my next post...stay tuned!

today I was a cow...

I did the voice of Wow Cow today for a cartoon titled "Special Red Dress". It's a Christmas tale meant for the young crowd that should be airing later this year. I love doing voice work...and this was with a great group of people...you might recognize some of them.

my world...

I've been asking for some rain. My roses had been pruned and it has been a crisp and clear 70' after the holidays. I really wanted a couple of rainy days...just to wash the flowers faces and bathe in the raindrops of a new year. I think my British roots show through in this kind of weather and I dig my umbrella. After it rains and the sun peeks out...it is so refreshing to just breathe... a good way to start the new year I think.

In May of last year I went on a European cruise as a speaker...when I returned I had promised to post some pictures in the near future...but life just took off when I returned and I never got around to it. But being the Virgo I am, I have not forgotten that promise and I have picked a few pix from that colorful adventure and decided to post a few random images on this rainy day just for fun...Hopefully you will have fun looking at them and the color and design will in some small way inspire you. Art is indeed in every little thing in the world around us...
