up and coming...

Just a reminder that Valentines Day is next Thursday...How did it get to be February already?
Here's my daughter Becca at Mardi Gras in New Orleans. She was there on the job with her crew filming an episode of "The Girls Next Door." The writers strike has not affected reality television...it's good she has been working as a story and field producer. She just returned...exhausted but full of colorful memories. New Orleans really knows how to party!

If you find yourself at the Crafts & Hobby Show (CHA) in Anaheim I will be at in the Quayside booth #4351 on February 13th from 10 - 11 to sign some books...Then I will be doing an interview for "When Creativity Knocks" a new online show on the internet...
I'll also be dropping by Stampington & Co. Booth #1787 to show my new Clearly Impressed
Unruly Girls Club stamps and to sign my Paper Collections...Come say hi if you are there on Wednesday...I know it's the last day of the show...but it's the only day I could attend.
I hope you all got out there and voted...Can anyone name the two young guys in this picture that don't look too pleased about my nomination? And bonus question...what was the show where this picture was taken?

That's gotta be Jay North on the left - not too many blonde kids on 60s TV. But the boy on the right is a puzzler. Looks like a cross between Ken Weatherwax (Pugsley) and Larry Mondello. Meanwhile, the little girl in the middle grew up on a planet in a different solar system.

And how could you promise to have longer recesses if you also promised to eliminate school?

Hmmm, I am sure I saw this show! I know that is Jay North, for sure...I loved Dennis The Menace :) As for the other little boy - I am guessing either Jerry Mathers or Ted Rooney?

Becca is absolutely beautiful and has a million dollar smile.

Was that other kid from Please Don't Eat the Daisies? No, no , too late-that was like 1965. Possible to be Jerry Mathers? The photo is about 1960, right? The Dinah Shore Chevy show. I thought of Rusty Hamer too but the freckles are throwing me way off. Oh well, too much time on this internet tonight. Insomnia plays weird tricks on the eyes and brains. Maybe Rusty Stevens? the nose is right as are the freckles. Okay, I am going to bed.

Nice photo!

Q. Can anyone name the two young guys in this picture...
A. Hal Hopper's son Jay North and Mickey Rooney's son Teddy Rooney (Jolene wins!)

Q. What was the show?
A. The 1960 Dinah Shore Chevy Show on NBC from Burbank called "Ghosts, Goblins and Kids" starring AC!

I found the answers here on AC's blog: blog link. Here's a video link from that show. (Further trivia question: what is the connection between the song AC is singing in that TV clip versus the singing she would later do on the big screen? Here's another video from a Dinah Shore Chevy Show (link) episode that includes a singer that AC would later work with in some movie!)
