sailing by...

Hello...I'm back...Where have I been? For a little over two weeks I was a Guest Speaker on the Tahitian Princess Cruise Ship and I have been sailing on the high seas. Here I am on the bridge of the ship...ready to start the journey of a lifetime...

The cool thing was that the whole family got to go with me, and that made it very special indeed. Our ports of call were Civitavecchia - Rome, Cannes, Barcelona, Gibraltar, Lisbon, Cobh - Cork, La Havre - Hon Fleur, and Dover - London. It was a fantastic voyage, wonderful people, lots of adventures and a gazillion pictures. I wanted to blog while I was gone, but that turned out to be mission impossible. I plan to post some of the pix from my trip and log some of the fantastic things we saw and did along the way. But for a while...that will have to wait...

Life doesn't stop once you return...I have a booksigning at the Garden Party at Zinnia this Saturday the 9th...Hope you will come by if you are out this way...

And next weekend, May 15th, I will be flying to Louisville, Kentucky to attend WonderFest with my sister Veronica. So if you are in that neck of the woods come by and say hi!

Life has been busy, crazy, wonderful...So stayed tuned... For now...over and out...

Wow! Angela, what a fantastic trip! I'm sooooo looking forward to seeing more pics, and reading your stories.

(Just the thought that you were in London, however briefly, fills me with envy -- and the rest of the trip? Wow.)

I'll be thinking of you tomorrow at Zinnia -- I'll get out my copy of "In This Garden" and *wish* you were signing it! And have a great time in Kentucky with Veronica!

That is so cool... I was thinking you must have gone on a cruise... or to far off lands. We just watched Veronica last night in a second season episode of the Mod Squad... great to see her in it! She was the highlight of the show!

Hi, Angela -- just posted about the Music Festival and Art Walk on my blog, urging people to attend, if they're anywhere in the vicinity. I'll be thinking of you today! http://serenityathome.blogspot.com The post is entitled "If you're going to Pasadena..."

What a wonderful cruise and adventure it must have been! It must have been a trip of a lifetime. I spent many years in the Navy and there is something very special about going to sea, and especially visiting those wonderful places like you saw. Can't wait to see the pictures you post.

I hope you and all the Mums have a great Mother's Day.

OMG I'm green! My daughter gets to go to Spain in a couple of weeks for most of the summer and I'm dying there too. We will be trying out the empty nest for the first time ever! What a great experience. What did you speak about? Can't wait for pictures and I hope more info.
Have a relaxing day Sunday.
