My daughter is working in the Arkansas right now...and she sent me this image below, which puts into perspective what Memorial Day weekend is really all about. What would we do without people who wanted to fight for freedom...
It helped me put into perceptive, how very small we are in this vast universe and how much really happens outside our little world that we think revolves around us.

Good reminder about Memorial Day. Our freedoms are with a price.
Hi Angela, I wish you and your family a happy Memorial Day weekend. The bottom picture looks like you and Billy and Marta had fun at NASA floating around.
Delightful post- so glad to have found you blog- I have enjoyed seeing your artwork in several of the magazines I read.
Thank you for sharing

Love that photo of you three Robinsons floating in a weightless environment! The smiles on your faces - that take was REAL fun! Maybe that's how you would've all looked if the Jupiter 2 arrived back on Earth?
So cool, too, that you guys stay in regular contact.
Cheers Angela!
You're so right about that Angela. As we get older, there are more & more things which were familiar to us during our childhood and which are now drifting away, never to be seen again. It's difficult not to be nostalgic about it all sometimes. However, we are so blessed to be able to witness all the exciting new things that are being invented every day. What a fascinating time to be alive! We got to experience the best of the 50's & 60's and we're still around to see such marvellous progress unfolding.
Glad to see your daughter is in the South. Maybe she can pick up some of the local dialect, diet, and disposition... Everyone is a world unto their own. Yet others do not revolve us ,rather we revolve around each other...I think I'm gettin dizzy.. ☼
