captured art

My pal Tiffini Elektra X and have joined forces to create what I call Captured Art. Tiffini is a master at creating bottlecap jewelry and capturing art to place in Earrings, Necklaces,Optical Pendants,ID tags, pocket mirrors and wine glass ID charms. I so loved her work and I asked if she could create a line of jewelry with my handpainted images...she has done just that.

I'm always wearing these bottlecap earrings and necklaces and people stop me all the time to ask about them. They are fascinated by the mini works of art captured in a bottlecap.

This Optical Pendant holds the picture 'Dreamcatcher'. It's an image of a spider web perched high in a tree.
The mirrors are perfect for your purse and come with a velvet bag. They make great gifts.
These ID tags can be clipped onto keys to identify them, snapped onto your cell phone or clip it onto a zipper.
The wine charms make a great hostess or housewarming gift. Never lose your glass of Chianti again.(I've also wore these as earrings.)
Captured Art with my handpainted photos is now available to purchase on my website in the Pasticcio Bizarre so drop by and take a look if you have a chance. Just in time for the holidays! Thanks Tiffini for doing such a great job capturing my artwork.

Those are so beautiful, Angela - I always love the unexpected in art, and it's especially wonderful when there are artists like you two who can take something people normally just throw away, and turn it into something new and incredible. That's true art I do believe! =)

MS Cartwright, That permanent red glow on MS X's cheeks make me think she might have a better supply of wine bottle corks than bottle caps. That is if she needed a LOT to repurpose. You could call it "Chardonnay Avant-Garde Montage". You ,your friend and all your work is very beautiful!

I teach art at a pediatric cancer camp here in Texas and last year we began making "bottle cap art" using images the kids draw themselves and sealing them with embossing powder. It's been one of our most successful projects. Glad to find your site. I grew up with "Lost in Space". Love the work you're doing now. Tiny photographs framed inside a bottle cap. Lovely.

Ha! Just warn Coco Celini Gump not to end up like this pic of Deborah Harry from circa 1971 in her modeling (pre-Blondie rock band) days! (lol)

p.s. Is Coco Celini dressing up for Halloween this year? (lol)
