boobinsons unite

The top picture here of the "Lost In Space" cast was our interpetation of the parody MAD MAGAZINE did of our show. We were the 'Boobinsons'and it was called "Loused Up In Space". I think we did a pretty good job looking like they drew us!

And here we are today. Bill Mumy, Marta Kristen, me, Bob May (the man inside the robot) and June Lockhart. As always it was fun to see everyone at the Hollywood Collectors Show in Burbank...

Heather (my 'Sound of Music' sister 'Louisa') was there...

...and Bill and I got to meet Chubby Checker...that was a blast.

Bill has a new album out "With Big Ideas"
check it out if you get the chance.

Coco Cellini drove us to the show, but didn't have a ticket to come in...

From your post:
>Coco Cellini drove us to
>the show, but didn't have
>a ticket to come in...

Shoot! And I really wanted Coco Cellini's autograph (paw print?) too! Oh well, at least I was fortunate enough to get LIS and Heather's!

Thanks for posting the pics and for spending time with the fans!

Coco is very cute and so talented!

p.s. I hope your Coco Cellini drives better than Toonces the Driving Cat from the old Saturday Night Live sketches! I see Toonces has his own Star Pics card, but I don't recall seeing him signing at the Hollywood Celebrities show. (lol)

Wow, it was interesting to search on-line for Coco Cellini...I hadn't recalled that Coco was with Angela in TSOM and in LIS too. (lol)

i always thought marta and mark had a lot of chemistry in lost in space-i guess they were meant to be paired up-was there chemistry between them in real life? -amanda

I don't recall exactly where, but I did read an interview on-line where Marta addresses that question, so it might be searchable.

I'm sure the cast members were good friends and were very considerate of each other at all times...well maybe not at all times per this photo! (lol, just kidding!)

angela, was reading something on dan blocker, who played beloved hoss on bonanza. reading the article, came across your name.

it's an article on this ghost town place that says you were a visitor. did you go to promote lost in space? or just to visit? was it fun? hope you'll share since i'm a huge western fan.

That western town article was interesting...it mentions not only appearances by Angela of movies and LIS fame, but also appearances by actor Darby Hinton who played the character of Israel Boone...My guess is that the actress who played Jemima Boone may also have appeared! The article also mentions a "Clint Walker of Daniel Boone" but Clint Walker was of a different show: Cheyenne.

One of my favorite Hollywood photos is of two sisters: one playing Penny Robinson and one playing Jemima Boone: (See near bottom left of Veronica Cartwright's page here). AC once told me what song they were singing, but I can't remember if she said "This Land is Your Land" or whether she said "Let There Be Peace On Earth" or maybe it was something else?

Also see autographed combo photo #9 at Angela's site and at Veronica's site
(That's equal opportunity linking!)

i love another pic of angela and veronica singing by the record player when they're little-it's on angela's page. did you enjoy the ghost town, angela? was it in oklahoma? it seems like stars did a lot of wild west appearances. one being george reeves, although that experience turned him sour. -amanda

The reunion looks like so much fun, Angela - and everyone looks fantastic! Too bad about little Coco not having a ticket, though - she does look awfully cute behind the wheel =)

Good to see some of the LIS crew together again.

I will be forever grateful to you and that show for so many wonderful childhood memories. Strange - I don't know you at all, but the link you provide back to my childhood is priceless, and it happened without me ever realising it at the time.

In any case, very good to see you there last weekend, with your colleagues.

Every success to you Angela into the future.

And thanks,

Ian Johnson.

Thanks so much Angela, for posting the photo and bringing back so many great memories for me!
