comin' down the road...

Heading back from Las Vegas to make my interview on Creative Mojo . We are talking about art and my part of  Seth Apter's book The Pulse of Mixed Media ... Left early...coffee kicking in...and aching to do something creative...this is what I shot from the passenger seat...

Great photos you took on your way home, Angela! I'm intrigued by that first one, with the turquoise blue in it. At first glance, it looks like a structure in an amusement park, but I'm puzzled by what appear to be Greek statues all the way around it. Do you know what that building is or was used for in the past?

By the way, I tuned into that internet radio station just in time to catch your interview with Seth Apter. I had no idea he was a psychologist either (lol). I found the interview quite interesting, loved the way you talked about various stages of your career, your passions and what fuels your creativity. I found your humility quite refreshing as well. It's such a contrast to the attitudes of a lot of so-called "super celebrities" these days. I had no idea that you used to draw during your childhood and then gave it up as you got closer to your teen years. I'm hoping you'll post a few of of those early sketches from time to time here on your blog.

I'll definitely be picking up the Sound of Music Family Scrapbook soon. I've been looking forward to seeing it and reading it for quite some time now.
