Love the figures in these artworks. Loaded with personality.

My thoughts are with you, Angela. I truly hope the tears and fears have abated. And your latest art is breathtaking... conceptually multi-layered... and very personal. I stripped some layers away at first gaze... I will return and no doubt glean more. ~Robin~

Hi Angela, I hope your love one's recover fully. I think the lower artwork show's how your emotion's have been lately. You must still have a sense of humor because of the line that you used from Lost In Space. Hang in there.

So sorry to hear about your tears & fears Angela. Helping our parents work through their health issues as they age is a huge challenge. I went through that myself many years ago as an only child, which is really rough when there are no siblings around to help out. Hang in there & take a well-deserved breather now that the crisis is over. Your art is beautiful, as always. The colors in the 2nd piece especially called out to me.

Love all the issues I have ordered so far - it would be too hard to pick just one, they are all so original and interesting. Shared your giveaway on my FB page.
May your art help relieve a bit of the stress- hope all is well soon........

Sounds like unhappy news Angela. Thinking of you and your family as you deal with things. My parents are both elderly, but still reasonably good (despite health issues). Its a worrying time! Spend as much time doing what you need to - you done some touching items on this blog about your parents. By the way (apologies if this already appears somewhere on your web page) - what motivated your parents to migrate to USA?

You and your parents are in my thoughts -- I hope all will be well with them (and with you) again soon.

Be gentle with yourself.

*hugs*

Angela sorry to hear of your travails - the aging and passing of parents is always a tough thing as we adjust to the pain and transition to the role that our parents and grandparents played. As a person of your age, of course I went looking for you as a result of your roles in SOM and LIS which we seminal events in my youth but was so pleased to see your artwork! Although I lack a talent for painting/drawing, I wish I had even a modicum of talent to express myself in that way! In any case, best to you as you navigate this experience we call life and all blessings to you and your loved ones! Best, Bill headeryankee@gmail.com

Many hugs!! This is actually the first I've heard of Pasticcio, but already I'm in love! I, unfortunately, cannot afford to purchase art magazines of any kind...I drool over them on the rare occasion I get out of the house with no children (I have 4 kids 6 and under), but mostly, I just enjoy them when my artsy soul sister bff brings over her copies and lets me peruse them, or on the very rare occasion that I actually win one in a contest. I just discovered your blog tonight, while in search of new inspiration for my art journaling and mixed media art, and I love everything I see on your blog (except the beginning of this post makes me sad...). Sending prayers and good thoughts your way for whatever the situation is. I shared this post and your lovely looking magazine on my FB page!
