winging my way...

Winging my way into March. I am working hard on some new art pieces. I have an exhibit March 19th at the Gallery 8 in Studio City, California and yikes...it's exciting. I have been thinking about the art for this collection a long time now...I titled it "Above The Fray" and it encompasses my recent travels to Asia. Here's a sneak peek of one of the pieces I think I finished today...I say think cause I have to look at each piece over and over and live with it for awhile before I can say...done...

If you need to get rid of the Winter Blahs, or if you have always wanted to experience the magazine Sarah Fishburn and I put together...now is the time. All issues of Pasticcio QuARTz are 15% off . Guaranteed to scare away the wintertime blues. Now we are working on Issue 12...but that won't be out until June...after my exhibit.

ok...back to work... oh by the way...good job James for knowing where my four questions Valentine quote came from...the movie 'Don Juan DeMarco'...Johnny Depp said it...and I remember I kept zipping the film back and writing it down. I printed it out years ago and I have it up on my wall. Sometimes words just resonate with me and I have to keep them in a self place.

Really like the shadow on the stone walk. The pattern is hypnotizing in a way.

Hi Angela, I like sunrise Hong Kong. The view looking out over the bay is very relaxing and peaceful.

I looked at your profile on the Gallery 8 site. Just beautiful. Your landscapes make me think of that great movie "The Secret of Rone Innish". The grayness and eeriness, I love! And Fragil by Sting is my favorite of all of his songs. Thanks for playing it!

Your new art piece is very beautiful and soothing to look at. The boats appear so peaceful sitting there at rest in the harbour. Makes me wonder if sailboats stretch their masts up towards the sky when they awake to greet the rising sun?

Best of luck with your new exhibit in March, I'm sure you'll do very well indeed. Wish I could be there in person to see it, but I'll be looking forward to seeing photos of your other new works, either here or on the gallery's website.
