main street art...

Today I taught a class at Zinnia in South Pasadena called
'Main Street Exquisite Corpse'...
We made the coolest blocks using tons of different techniques...
We made our own stamps, stenciled, masked, collaged, painted and played.
We worked on one side and then passed them to the next person
to add their touch, exquisite corpse style...

They all came out fabulous...
and we had tons of fun.
Thanks for the good time all...
and thanks Tamara for the great classroom space...
your store rocks...
If you have never been to ZINNIA
ya just have to go...

Those are so very very cool! What a great concept!

Just in passing, I've found I particularly enjoy opening your blog, and leaving it open on my toolbar so that your music playlist enhances my day. "Leaves on the Seine" is playing right now, and it is so very lovely. Thank you!

Have you tried screenprinting? I work as a silk screen printer that does tractor tailer identification decals. A design film is place on a silk screen that had emulsion coated and is expose to uv light. The area not cover by the film is harden and the image is wash out by pressure water.
