big plans...

Every once in a while you see something so magical...your heart leaps.
It took my breath away when we pulled into the Port of Cobh, Ireland. It was like that boat you take through the big whale at Disneyland and everything is miniature. I loved that ride as a kid...and I loved this ride as well...

Color, Black and White and watercolor...I have big plans for these images artwise...

There's a really cool site called Creative Therapy...I'm catalyst seventy-two...check it out!

Exciting stuff -- the images from Ireland, the Catalyst thoughts and art... all of it. I loved what you had to say about friendship. Some amazing people have helped me through the last several months since both my parents suddenly had to enter nursing homes, at virtually the same time. Friends that I've known for years, some that I've only known for a short time -- some that I only know through online connections -- but they've all been there for me, and have strengthened me. I hope I can either return that strength when they need it -- or be strength for someone else and send the blessing onward.

Thank you for your reflections, both thoughtful and artful. And for the connection that you offer through your blog, through your words, through your art.

Hey, Miss A --
My grandfather left from Cobh in 1904, when he was 21, en route to Ellis Island. He recalled that the cathedral spire was the last he ever saw of Ireland, as it was for so many. Very, very touching image. beautifully done, as always!
Love,
