It is sad to see Bob go... to think time has flown by! We went from having to have men in robot suits, to actual robots being used in space (ie on ISS)!
Yet, I am glad to find this website and happy to see it so updated! What a career you have! Thank you for being there for your fans. And may Bob rest in peace...
Hi This is the hardest thing to deal with as I too grew up with LIS and learned of Bob's passing. Honestly, I never knew he was the person that wore the equipment but it hurts just the same. This show was one of TV's true family friendly brodcasts. Joe
I was so sad to read about Bob. My husband and I love recalling memories of watching the show when we were little. My prayers are with his family and friends. Take care, Trish
My condolenses to you and Judy his wife and his family on Bob's passing on Sunday. I have also conveyed my condolenses to Bill.. I remember having the most 'entertaining' breakfast with him and Jonathan at a Chiller Theatre event in 2000. Both were trying to convey a story to me *at the same time*. Simply priceless!
He was ALWAYS very gracious to me from the first time I met him in 1998 to October 2008 at the HCS event. Bob 'our favorite robot' will be missed.
I'm here by way of Bellakarma's blog. Just wanted to add my condolences over the passing of Bob May. I'm so sorry for the loss of your friend. His work (and yours) added more happiness than you might think to my childhood.
I remember meeting Bob May in Boston way back in the 80's. What a sweet and down to earth man. You could tell that he loved everything about those three years as the robot. He just glowed when he spoke about it. My condolences go out to you and everyone who will miss him.
This made me so sad...I loved LOST IN SPACE and years ago when I realized you were the very same ANGELA CARTWRIGHT that was on the show...I couldn't believe it!!! I really enjoy your work!

I loved the Robot....still do. Bob was fantastic playing him. Light speed my friend....
You surfaced! Yay you!
I've been a fan since the Make Room For Daddy days. I regularly use "Danger, Will Robinson!" in conversation. Ah well. So it goes.
By the way, your site guestbook isn't working. (Was it being spammed?)
That's a lovely picture of you and Bob.
