my art is a shadow of my self ...

I took a walk today...just me and my shadow...
then I discovered all the places I could go...

All part of the art I am working on right now...

Hi Angela!
You put a lot of your soul into your art. There are no words that accuratly describe its beauty, or the effect it has on me.

Love from Frank

Hi MS Cartwright, Love the "shadow pics". Love the background music also. By the way all artists are un-ruly. Artists never use protractor, compass or ruler in their work. That's only for us less talented. >PEACE

Angela: I just wanted to say how much of an inspiration your book(s) are to me! mixed Emulsions offers something new for me every time I open it. I've been playing around with new textury stuff, very fun, especially crackling...your work is amazing and I thank you!

Me and my shadow
Strolling down the avenue
Me and my shadow
Not a soul to tell our troubles to

And when it's twelve o'clock,
we climb the stair
We never knock,
cause nobody's there...

Me and my shadow
We're closer than smog when
it clings to L.A.

(I wonder if AC met Sammy or Frank? My guess would be yes. I saw Sammy in person once, he was top-notch.)

I tried to take a pic of something on the ground once and all I got was my shadow. :D I wanted to post it here. I can't find it. If I can find it, I will post it. I have a shy shadow. It looks timid. You have a great shadow Angela. And you have a wonderful way with words. You express the way I feel a lot. :)

Beautiful shadow art, Angela - I love the different shapes! For Christmas this year my husband bought me the most wonderful present - your book (Mixed Emulsions). I am having such a wonderful time with it, and enjoy trying out all the fantastic ideas. I keep it right on my nightstand and look at it every evening before bed - that way I get ideas of what to try out the next day =) Thanks again for sharing your techniques and your art!
